The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) program is a federally-funded program whose purpose is to consolidate, coordinate, and improve employment, training, literacy, and vocational rehabilitation programs in the United States.  WIOA sponsors a variety of classroom and on-the-job training programs through selected training service providers. The program serves adults, dislocated workers, and youth in Alexander, Johnson, Massac, Pulaski and Union Counties.
