We provide computer terminals with high speed Internet access for job searching, free noncredit Microsoft Office 2010 computer classes (Windows 7, Word for Resumes, Basic Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook), labor market information, access to a representative from the New York State Department of Labor, assistance with 599 applications, résumé assistance, referrals to other community/state agencies, and free postage for correspondence to businesses for job searching purposes. Individual Assistance is offered to all job seekers. Resource room is equipped with PC`s, printer, fax, copier, and phones. Computers have resume software, CareerZone self assessment tool, job fair and employer recruitment listings, labor market information, and internet access. Job openings are updated daily on-line and also printed in hard copy. Career Counseling, Interest assessment and skill testing are offered by appointment. Employers recruit on-site. Free HSE classes and computer classes are offered daily. Veteran services are available. Partners on-site are Erie1BOCES, VESID, Supportive Services, Villa Maria College resume workshops, and Health Insurance Information representative.
