Due to the recent tornadoes in the area the One-stop office has moved to the above stated address. The Employment Security office has moved to 116-D West 3rd Street, Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870, phone: 252-537-1111. The Halifax/Northamtpon JobLink Career Center is located in the Roanoke Rapids Office of the North Carolina Employment Security Commission. The Center occupies approximately 4100 square feet of space with an acre of parking. Approximately 1,000 square feet of space is devoted to JobLink Partner offices. The rest is devoted to Employment Security Commission activities and a Career Resource Center with computers and other media for job search activities.A veterans representative is available at this location.
