The office is located 1and 1/2 blocks from the County Courthouse, within walking distance of the Department of Social Services, The Post Office, Sandhills Mental Health, Richmond Community College continuing education site, and the County and City offices. The office has parking available and is located 1 and 1/2 blocks off Hwy 74 which is the major street in Rockingham. The physical building was build in Sept. 1999 and has 6985 square feet. There is one large conference room (approx. 25 sitting at table), an appeals hearing room, a media room(with TV and video), an employer interview room, a Career Resource Room, 6 other offices, and 15 consultant work stations, and one testing station, public, handicap accessible bathrooms, and water fountains. A veterans representative is available at this location.
