Davidson County NCWorks Career Center Thomasville

The Career Center is located in Davidson County between Interstate 85 and Business 85 highways. It is within walking distance of the main thoroughfare including downtown Thomasville. The center provides a full delivery of comprehensive services and linkages to resources and agencies. Full time staff are provided by the Workforce Innovation Opportunities Act and the Division of Workforce Solutions. Other agencies provide full or part time staff at this location including Veteran services, Urban League, Vocational Rehabilitation, Davidson County Community College, GetReady Youth program, Former Offender program, and Weatherization. Customers seeking jobs are provided with guidance in developing quality resumes, interviewing techniques and other job seeking and keeping skills. The center also provides numerous employer activities including recruitment, and training skills.  Note: Many comprehensive services available onsite with the exception of unemployment claims. Due to changes of DWS and DES services, staff provides very limited and minimal guidance of UI claims.
