Kino Veterans’ Workforce Center help military veterans find jobs and get training, benefits and support services; and to help employers hire veterans. Services include: • Peer support; • Drop-in and welcome; • Career counseling; • Job Search Assistance; • Help with Resumes; • Interview and phone techniques; • Skill and Aptitude assessment; • Computer labs and office equipment; • Benefits counseling and claims assistance – education, medical care, disability; • Assistance with housing and other basic needs during transition to employment; • Occupational skills training; • Adult education, tutoring and study skills; • Behavioral health services and recovery; • Business recruitment and workforce training assistance; and • Career Exploration for Veterans Workshops

Services are offered to out-of-school and in-school youth ages 14-21 who seek support in developing their educational and career pathways. We offer the following menu of services: •  Free workshops and seminars on career-related topics (resume building, job interviews, employability, career exploration) •  One-on-One comprehensive case management/workforce development with a staff specialist•  Individual skills and interests assessments•  Individualized career plans•  Paid work experience/internship, combination basic skills/work experience, and other work-based learning opportunities•  Specialized JTED satellite location; •  High school/GED-HSE/drop out recovery support•  College bridge and access•  Pledge-a-job•  Youth Workers – Pima County Public Libraries•  Youth Career Expo Series

Pima County’s Sullivan Jackson Employment Center (SJEC) was founded in 1986 to respond to the employment and training needs of homeless men and women seeking to enter the workforce. Services include: • Intake and assessment; • Employability Skills Training; • Self-directed Job Development and Placement; • Specialized case management supportive services for employment bound participants; • Extended training opportunities to enhance employment options; and • Aftercare/job retention case management
